A Jarrod Leigh Reed property project involving hillside site preparation, excavation, engineered timber retaining walls and positioning a relocatable home overlooking the harbour.
The property was purchased as an undeveloped hillside site with heavily overgrown grass. The sloping terrain required substantial preparation before the site could be used effectively.
Using an excavator, the site was cleared and cut to create the required building area. Significant earthworks were undertaken to reshape the sloping block and prepare it for the next stage.
Engineered timber retaining walls were installed to retain the cut areas and establish usable, level sections of the property.
A three-bedroom, one-bathroom relocatable home was brought to the property and carefully moved up the hill into position on the prepared site.
The home is now positioned on the property, with further works still to come, including a new deck extending from the rear of the house. The photos show the development in progress rather than presenting it as a completed project.
